On February the 27th Saturday, we will be sorting and washing the Cumberwell Roman Site finds.

Saturday 13 February - Pewsey Vale fieldwalking finds processing

Dear members, we are having a second session of flint and other finds identification from the Pewsey Vale field walking project on 13th February, Saturday at Wiltshire Heritage Museum in Devizes. From 1000 onwards, tea and coffee provided, bring your lunch if you wish.

Finds Processing - Museum Sat 16 January

The Vale of Pewsey Fieldwalk has finished for the time being but will continue later. There have been many finds and we are holding a day activity to sort, clean and identify them on JANUARY 16TH Sat 2010. Paul Tubb from Bristol will be attending to assist and also to talk about the work he has already done in the Vale.
This will be in the Wiltshire Heritage Museum from 10.00am until about 4pm.

West Woods Induction Day - 13 Dec

There will be an induction day for new members on Sunday 13 December.

Cumberwell - 12 December

There is a new date for the excavations at Cumberwell - the next weekend excavation will be Saturday 12 December - 9am - c. 3.30pm.

Vale of Pewsey - now finished until 2010

The Vale of Pewsey fieldwalking project has now finished until early in the New Year. New dates will be posted here as soon as they are finalised.
